My brother has always been a dog-guy, but the elderly cat he inherited
from our grandmother really stole his heart. When Samantha had to journey
to the Bridge 2 years ago, he was devastated.
Tonight I'm joining him at his place for the 2nd annual Samantha Memorial
Bonfire. Should be interesting to see if she makes another appearance
tonight, as she has appeared several time to Pat and to me since her
journey to the Bridge.

I've never had a kitty die but my dog, Sampson, who spent nearly 18 years
with me, has appeared on numerous occasions. He's the one who told me to
let Persia in, and we all know what a loving companion she has been in the
wake of my loss of Sampson. I was a blubbering mess. I was told by Sampson
to let Persia inside and into my heart. Then I discovered the joys of a cat
who acts like a dog LOL

Bless Persia's little heart for helping you heal that way.

I'm glad she came to me, Pat. I had no intentions of ever having a cat but
she insisted and Sampson told me to let her in :) He even told me she
wouldn't bother my birds. I had two parakeets at that time; they both died
within a year but then I brought home Peaches the baby lovebird and Persia
did nothing more than look at her curiously and that was that. They live
happily with me :)

Purring away for your brother...and hoping that Samantha lets you all know
she's doing okay until you all meet again.
Blessed be,
Baha

I hope it was a lovely remembrance and that she made an appearance. I
am always delighted and warmed when I see one of mine.
