When I am cooking, Memphis is often to be found sitting on a bar table we
have in the kitchen, or on one of the high stools next to it. From there he
can see what I'm up to, and is happy to watch. Unless I am preparing chicken
or ham and then he is up on hind legs trying to be all cute!
Today I have been really evil and made some choc chip cookies with both
white and milk chocolate. Now when I have stuff in the oven, I retreat
usually to the lounge and read or something. Memphis stays in the kitchen. I
have noticed however, that I have a furry timer - he comes in and meeoows at
me, and sure enough, if I follow him to the kitchen, my cooking is usually
coming up for baked to perfection ( or should that be Puuurrrfection?)
What a clever cat!

He is all cute, and very clever, although he probably doesn't care for
cookies.
