Magic Mood Jeep© - 27 Jul 2006 15:45 GMT Besides sending her on a cross-Atlantic visit to her boyfriend, Boyfriend, that is :D
The silly (sorry Boyfie, but she is just a teensy bit!) little girl jus *has* to be on my desk!
Right now she is nearly asleep, in the 'slut-cat' position, purring non-stop. Front paws in the 'praying manits' position. All that white belly to smurgle!!!!!
After a few minutes I hear what sounds like a cat doing a good butt-washin'. But Mimi is the only cat in the room with me. I look at her.
She's purred so much it's activated her drool-motor :)
She's smacking her lips and licking her nose in an effort to 'control' the drool.
Oop, she's awake. One of the buggerbutts just galloped into the room and skidded to a stop on the hardwood floor by my feet. She has rolled now over into a more ladylike position (she did upside-downy-head!!!!) - but hasn't stopped purring!
I can't help but love this pink-nosed, purrified fuzzy butterball!

You've got it easy! Basho has to be *on* my chest. It's hard to work with a purring terrorist 2 inches from your face planning his next nose nip. :)

The problem is, her fat overflows the keyboard and triggers F-commands!!

Redunzel associates me sitting down to my computer with serious skritching. Doesn't matter where she is as soon as I sit down she is there and if I don't pay attention fast enough she will poke me with her claw. Then she climbs up next to me and demands some serious lovin' for about 10 minutes before heading off to wherever she was before I sat down

When Caliban first came to me, he used to sleep beside my laptop. http://community.webshots.com/photo/416910483/1418710855058511339TeAtuJ The problem was, he'd often have his paw on or near the Delete key, so I always had to be on my toes. Luckily he doesn't lay there often these days.

Awww! Mimi is a sweetie fat kittie :) Bet she'd love a ferret to play with! (teasing)
Persia is always showing me her fluffy grey belly and when I give her belly rubs or smurgles she's all indignant ("I was saving that for Weebs!" LOL ) But she really does love it and she rumbles deep and slow and snuggles close to me: "more, more, and skritches along my back, and please brush me, too!"

Boyfie says yes please, yes please, send her over here for the summer. He will take her out with him every day on territory patrol and keep her amused and exercised until the end of September. There's no lounging around on desks here when there's work to be done and rats to be looked at and frightened - if they are big - and caught if they are small. She'll be a mere shadow of her former self when she comes home :-)

She may be a bit timid at first, she's not been outside since she was an itty-bit, but I'm sure she's want to follow her sweet Boyfie! Please tell him to take it easy on her - she's not used to major expeditions at all, and probably tires easily. Make sure he lets her have frequent breaks (or naps), or Im afraid her legs will give out! Frequent snacks, too, lest her tummy rumbles scare off all the ratties ;)
I wouldn't mind a slimmer Mimi - she'd take up less desktop space, and wouldn't be rolling over and falling off onto my keyboard whilst I', [pWQRTLAEJFSHG LOL

Boyfie has agreed to take very great care of her and take her on short patrols at first because she is f**, er, fluffy. He say he don't mind a big girlfriend, purrsonality is all.

I suspect she'll sleep even more than usual when she gets back, as Boyfie will keep her plenty busy <wink wink, nudge nudge>.
Since Mimi is a growed-up kitty (she'll be three this coming April), she has no curfew, all I ask is that Boyfie keep an eye on her, and not let her silly-little self get into trouble!
She must be nervous, as this is turning into a marathon face-washing! Oop - never mind, she's on her way.
I expect a full report of her shenanigans, from either Boyfie or his Mommy, as Mimi doesn't "kiss-n-tell" ;)
Bye Mimi - be back on Sunday - and remember to keep clear of Kitty Farm Cat!

We'll see about that. Boyfie will not push his attentions on her.

Mimi will not be back on Sunday - she is here for the summer. KFC will not be a problem, she is now old and frail and cannot be bothered to fight. Which is not to say she will allow liberties, she won't. She can still deliver a stunning right hook and Boyfriend is still very afraid of annoying her.

Boyfie will not push his attentions on her. I'm sure at naptimes, they'll be snuggly with each other, but what I *really& meant was that he'd have her out on rat-patrols on a daily basis. She's gonna be all sleek and trim, like big-brother Weebs!

Didn't take her long to get over her "fear" of the big outdoors - but I'm sure your's is more cat-friendly than ours (we live on a *very* busy road where critters have been squished before).

Whoooo hooo - all that much less we'll need to spend on cat food!!!!! ;) Unfortunately, that means your cat food bill will go up! I don't think Mimi has ever eaten a rat (or bird, for that matter) unless it was before we got her when she was about 4 weeks old.
> KFC > will not be a problem, she is now old and frail and cannot be > bothered to fight. Which is not to say she will allow liberties, she > won't. She can still deliver a stunning right hook and Boyfriend is > still very afraid of annoying her. Mimi won't push KFC any - she's a fairly easy-going kitty. The only growling I hear from her is when she's on the 'window seat' (small kitty-tower at the end of my desk, near a window), and Lizzie wants up there. They'll growl at each other until I tell them to stop. Then Mimi usually abdicates in favor of Lizzie, and hops up on my desk to purr and forget all about mean ol' window-seat-stealin' Lizzie :D.
