Watering the garden tonight as it is so hot. Only bother with a few
containers, but use the hosepipe to drench them. At the same time, hubby
lets Memphis and Phoenix out to have a cool off in the garden too. Phoenix
chases the water! He seems to like getting a light spray over him. memphis
runs away from it though. Poor things are really feeling the heat lately!

How cute! He likes water? Mine avoid me with the water hose in my hand.
I've been watering twice a day just trying to keep things alive until
the heat wave lets up. I'm tired of it and about to just let it all
die.

Some cats like water in warm weather. Yesterday I poured, _partly_ by
accident, a bottle of water over Teti's back. He had joined me into the
bathroom and stood in the sink while this happened.
He didn't run away, he just stood there and wagged his tail (yes, Devon Rex
cats do this). Ok, it's quite warm here now, Norwegians aren't used to
temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius, nor are Norwegian bred cats, so I
guess he just felt that it was good for him.
I haven't tried this on Tinùviel, though, but if I get the chance... No
doubt she is going to punish me in some way, but I want to give it a try :-)

Mir and Cal are always veeery interested when I water my plants, both
inside and out. It has happened, on occasion, that Caliban has put his
head in front of the stream of water because he is so interested in
seeing where the water is going. This is not limited to watering, this
is something that often happens when a tap is turned on as well. He
doesn't seem to mind getting a little wet.
