Wow... 840 miles from Highland, Illinois (last weekend) later to a
very nice hotel with a business center about 30 miles from Houston.
With a business center so I can say "Hi!"

Poor Persia is at the vet being boarded but I will see her early next
week. Peaches the lovebird doesn't seem to care. I have called to
make sure they are both okay and they are. I'm told Persia is talking
to everyone who comes in to say hello. Hmmm, talking? Or yelling?
(poor baby)

The set-up for the show in Kingwood is tomorrow. I may stay at the
hotel after that until time to tear down; I'm not feeling very well.
Nothing serious! Just wanted to say hi while I have the chance.
Persia will be thrilled to see me next week, no doubt. And no doubt
she will punish me when she gets done checking out the apartment.

Will have lots of on the road stories to tell when I return. I'm
having a blast! Talk to you all later <G>

I sure hope you have fun, and hope you get to feeling better.

Just so you know, Weebs came up and sat on the arm of my chair while I was
reading you post, and now he's all in a funk because he misses his lady love
(Persia) even more now. I bet he does the HAPPY*HAPPY*JOY*JOY dance when
you are home & able to pick her up.

Thanks, I do feel better. But it is still hotter than Hades down here
in south Texas. Setting up for the show in Town Center Park was
brutal. An exhibitor who was across from us at the show in
Minneapolis is right next to us (Ralph; he's a trip). We went to grab
lunch (what a lunch! 6 oz. filet, baked potato and steamed broccoli)
when we were done. Then John took me to a mall -they are still
selling swim suits down here (!). The hotel pool is still open and
after the heat of setting up the booth sounded *so* inviting...
perhaps as the sun goes down we'll take a dip.

Awwwwww, Poor Weebs. He'll get to talk to her next week. Give him
scritches from me. She likes having a boyfriend :)

Jill, I had a missed call on my cell phone, but it was a "restricted" number
and I couldn't call it back... was that you??? If so, call me again, I'd

Yup, that was me. I'll change my phone settings so I'm not hiding my
ID. I'll try to call you tomorrow from the show. We'll be here in
Kingwood through Tuesday morning. Then I take a plane back to Memphis
and he has to drive to Dallas to deliver a large frame. I'm having a
blast!
