I recall you were envious that I won the Hill's Presciption Science Diet
free food for a year contest and Canada residents weren't eligible. (sorry
about that!)
I'd like to suggest this to you. I wrote to Hill's on their website and
thanked them and explained my unemployment situation and how Persia has to
eat only the x/d formula. They said they don't have any more "free" coupons
for that type of food but they offered to send me a couple of $5 off coupons
for any Prescription Diet product, would I like those? Absolutely!
So you might want to go to their website, do the "contact us" thing, explain
your situation and see if they offer you a couple of coupons for the
prescription food you need for yours. Just a thought and good luck!

Thanks Jill for the info and suggestion. Rusty is now on a different
prescription food by a Canadian manufacturer. It is a bit cheaper. If
the vet switches him again to Hill's presciption, I will write them and
explain my situation. Maybe I should write Medi-Cal to
see if I can get some discount coupons. Actually I should ask the vet
if Rusty can go off
prescription food as he is eating the Mature cat formula. I am sure
there must be other
non-prescription mature formula that are cheaper. But sometime I am
wary of switching
food as Rusty has a sensitive tummy.
