I set out a fairly good sized box that my bodhran came in with intentions of
taking it out to the trash. Persia has, of course, jumped into the box.
But mostly she's just "boxing" the flaps on the side like a boxer would
practice on one of those speed-bags. I hear bapbapbapbapbapbap! in rapid
succession. Maybe I should get her a teeny pair of boxing gloves :)

I'm going to give it a shot :) John is a member of a drumming group where
he lives and he keeps telling me how much fun they have. This particular
instrument has always fascinated me.

Hi Jill,
Found some bodhrain jokes for you - here is my favourite:
Why do men make better bodhran players than women?
Because they have already mastered the wrist movement.

LOL I like this one:
Why is a bodhran player like a foot massage?
A foot massage bucks up the feet, whereas...

Cool! I love that drum, also. Haven't learned to play it, though. Maybe
someday I will, as I love the music it is played with.

That's too cute! And creative. Persia is an inventor.

Back in the days of newsreels at the movies, there was once a clip about a
boxing cat. The clip turns up on the old movies channels now an again, keep
an eye open.
fundamentalism, fundamentally wrong.
