update on progress with stray kittens

I have been feeding them every day. They now reconize my voice and will
show themselves after a few minutes of talking to them. We are getting some
rain today and Friday. Two days ago I made a shelter for them out of a
unused trash can laying on its side and an old blanket. They have been
sleeping in it.Some days I also see the mother. Today she just sat and
watched as I talked to her and the kittens ate.

Sounds good. A shelter for them is great, please persevere and you might be
able to catch them eventually. You are very kind, Ann, to do this for the
kitties.

You're really making progress. I'm glad you improvised some shelter for them.
There's a cold front moving in Saturday ( Ann's in Conn., I'm in Mass. we're

Thanks every one for the encouraging words regarding the kittens. It is so
hard to know how much progress I'm making with them. I've never tried to
help homeless kittens before. Yesterday they were playing in my flower
garden. This morning I saw the mother and one of the kittens sunning them
selves on the brick side walk that goes to my back door. They are coming out
more into the yard now. When I talk to them they will look at me. Friday or
Monday I will call Kitty Angels back and talk to them again. I'm hoping
they have room for the kittens and will take them.
