Baby hedgehog pics

The baby hedgehog has been back again today, he's been eating fresh peaches.
I took a couple more pictures which I posted on webshots in the garden
album, also posted one, resized, to a.p.b.a.

I was surprised to see him out and about in the middle of the day but he was
eating and looks healthy.

Assuming the dark bit at the left is a peach pit, it looks like he
isn't much larger than a peach himself.

He's very small but he's a perfect minature of the adults, one of which I
can see from where I'm sitting. :-)

That reminds me of last summer, when there was a hedgehog out on a
neighbour's front lawn in daylight. Within about five minutes, there were
people from four or five different houses coming out with water for it in
case it was in trouble.

No telephoto, for the latest ones I managed to get very close to him then I
cropped the picture. He was so interested in the peach he didn't notice me
at first, when he did he ran away.
