I've just had a call from my neighbour 2 doors up to go get my cat. Lily
is a very sociable kitty, and she likes human bitties because they play
with her. It seems they keep having to fish her out of the kiddies
paddling pool! Lily and the kids have apparently been spending the whole
afternoon playing in the paddling pool chasing ping pong balls that have
been floating on the surface. My neighbour doesn't know who had more fun
- the kids or Lily!

It seems that she is aptly named for a cat who loves water. ;o)

Oh my gosh how funny! (It is supposed to by 100 here today. My mom just
called and it's 105 in South Dakota. UGH)

It is hot and humid here too. The humidex is around 35C. I went to the
stores as soon as
they opened early this am to pickup groceries. Besides being cooler,
the stores are less
crowded then. I am going to spend the rest of the day at home with the
AC turned on.
The thunder monster was here and Rusty promptly hid under my computer
desk. I just
feel so lazy in such hot summer days. Rusty can look from his room
right down to the outdoor pool. But neither of us has any interest in
going there. Both of us prefer napping.

How adorable. Those kids must love her. Sounds like a very fun afternoon
was had by all. I wonder if anyone made a video?
