Mischief - 14 Oct 2004 20:23 GMT
I've been getting into springboard diving at school.  I have three
towels I use, and normally I just hang them up in the locker; and I
finally brought them home to wash.  They're not THAT icky, but it was
time.

One of them Mischief has starting rubbing all over.  So I laid it out
on the floor for her and she's STILL rubbing and rolling all over it
in glee.

So being the evil person I am, I sprinkled a little  catnip on it,  :)

Now she's REALLY rubbing and rolling with a happy look on her face.

But even without the catnip, she loved the scent for some reason.  I'm
sure it smells of me and pool water, but I can't see how that would
smell so good to her.   Very weird.

Oh well,

Kristi

Who knows why they love the smells they do. I'm still trying to figure
out why Natasha likes to nap with her head stuck inside my Reeboks.

hahaha. I remember when my kid came home one day and took her sneakers off
in the family room and I found Jazz with his head stuck inside. He wasn't
moving so I thought he had passed out in there. He stayed stuck like that
for about 10 minutes. The smell must have been something else, hehe.

Nikki has a shoe fetish, too. ;o) I think we have a good match here.

Felix loves my shoes, too. I have pictures of him happily snoozing
with his head stuffed into one.

I had fish sauce on my food tonight and apparently it is Smokey's
favourite cologne...he keeps trying to put his nose in my mouth, and
when I won't let him, rubs his wet nose all over my cheek and lips.

Clorine? Some cats go nuts for it.

>Oh well,

It may actually be the chlorine smell as well as your own scent.  DH
uses bleach to sterilize her hands and to sterilize kitchen surfaces.
When she sits down to take a rest, Sumo will come to sniff and
face-rub her hands.

Cats love things that smell like us. My husband would come home from a long
days work. My kitty Boots and I would watch him take off his work clothes and
put on his comfy clothes. My husband would toss his socks and  undies on the
end of the bed and Boots would dive head first into them, rolling around in
them, undies on his head, socks in his mouth. As a finale he'd stick his head
directly into my husband's "fresh" work shoes. He'd also take dirty socks and
stash them under the bed in his  hidey spot. Cats, go figure.

I have two cats that are bleach addicts.  That might be her vice too.
