I got email from her this evening. The pathology reports came back as
inconclusive. They've sent the sample off to a university in Florida. She
has an appointment with her surgeon next Monday and hopefully they will have
some conclusive information then. Meanwhile, she's in pain and of course is
a nervous wreck. More purrs are in order, please.

I know, and a bit cruel, too. The waiting and not knowing is driving her
crazy.

That too. Continuing purrs for her that they got a good margin for it
and all. I assume her doctor will want to have a conclusive answer as
soon as possible, so that they'll know whether to follow up with other
treatments.

Good health purrs en route. Does inconclusive mean she might not have
cancer after all?

I think there was always a *chance* she didn't, despite the doctor's dire
predictions. She still doesn't know.

Inconclusive results are not necessarily bad. It usually means "that at
this stage of testing we don't find evidence of cancer." Yet. They will
have to do more tests to confirm. Lets all hope it will be clear.

I SMS'd Marina this info and she asked me to convey purrs from the cats
on the island, which I can only assume are very happy and powerful
purrs.
And I'll "raise" (or whatever that poker phrase was...) her island
purrs and add two lazing in the sun home kitties' purrs.

Thank you Jill for posting. I've been think of Kili and hoping that
things have gone well for her.
I'm sure it must be very frustrating not to at least have an answer.
Purrs that she will have less pain and Monday will bring good news.

AAARGH! The not knowing is probably the worst thing she's going through
right now. Many purrs for her, and for a definite diagnosis of *benign* to
comes ASAP!

Thanks for letting us know... Poor Kili! I can't imagine being left
