They are a little tuckered out until i put them in a large plastic tub.
The orange has already figured out how to climb out of it. So a little
cardboard and scotch tape to raise the sides. It's so i can have them
in the living room and keep them still confined a bit.
No coccidia, but the vet prescribed Albon for both of them. Also some
BNP ointment for the orange one's eyes. My roomie's friend was gonna
pick up the black one on Sat. But there's only one bottle of
medication. So i told my roomie that we could either keep the bitties
for a week while they are getting medication or i could try to get an
empty bottle from work and try to split it.
Anyway, i'm off to do laundry cause every towel has been pooped on.
Later I'm going to give them yet another bath since their whole back
ends are dirty.
In terms of their food, my roomie was giving them Iams, and i just
checked the label and it's for adults. I bought some kitten wet food
and will give them just a little bit and see what happens.
overall cost today: $218 for the vet visit, $58 from the pet store for
food, pet wipes, a flea comb, flea shampoo and Advantage. *sigH*
Will keep you posted.

My money's on the bitties.
YOu'll do fine Kristi. I hope that you aren't any further out of pocket
for them, but wouldn't be surprised if they cost you more. Is your
roomie going to help out? Purrs continuing for the bitties from us
here. May I suggest that Iams is not the best food to feet kittens? It
really did a number on PC when he first rescued us from the mountain.
We changed him to Hill's Science kitten and he did well after that.

Isn't it amazing just what a tuckered out bittie can manage to do?
Anything sensible that had been through what they've been through the last
24 hours would go to sleep.
We are on full purr alert around here. Jake can even relax and purr. To
his utter amazement, this morning on her out to the front yard visit. Kayla
discovered the Tuxedo bully that has been making Jakes life a misery. He
was under the front bushes harassing Jake. Kayla routed him and chased him
off and then came back to sniff Jake to make sure "her" cat was OK. For a
dog that never barks, she did plenty of it till the stranger cat was gone.
Jake still can't believe she is good for something. But he didn't hiss at
her last night.

On my horse racing board, one gal's signature includes "Cats are
expensive". It's true.

LOL, an excellent sentence, especially for a beginner. Bitties are so
fun aren't they. I love how they go full tilt, then crash wherever they
happen to be at.
Pam S. who loved having bitties, but prefer the adult version

Purrs for the little ones, Kristi -- I'm trying to get caught up reading
here on rcpa. I hope they'll perk up soon and your laundry cleaning and vet
visits will decrease!
hugs,
Christine
