They said it will survive and recover and will be up for adoption in a
couple weeks.  WARNING the video will make you cry when you hear its cry for
attention

An email from Maury at 10th Life sent Saturday evening"

I'm so sad to inform you that Chipper died late this afternoon. Dr.
Zeitlin does not yet know the exact cause of death. This comes as a
surprise since Chipper appeared to be doing well this morning.  Dr.
Zeitlin will conduct a complete necropsy to determine the cause of
death. We'll post the results on our website late next week.

Chipper will be buried at our sanctuary next week.
Thank you for your support and prayers.

I was hoping for a good ending.  At least she got a chance to fight and
people gave her a chance to fight.

Oh, no, that's so sad!  Chipper was such a cutie and such a fighter.
You know, the world really sucks, imho.

OH NO!!!!

I went to the website and my heart sank when i heard the poor little
guy was having seizures.  I wouldn't be surprised if the spinal cord,
though appearing intact was damaged.

I can't believe that the cat made it alive through the wood chipper to
begin with, but it's very touching that a lot of people chipped in to
help and everyone was purring for the little guy.

Hopefully the little one will be reincarnated into another little
kitten, one who will have a little more luck.

I'm surprised, but at the same time, think I shouldn't be surprised.
In the video that came with the first news report, the damage seemed to
be pretty severe, especially with that broken neck.
