Some time ago I posted about an acquaintance from another newsgroup who
has a couple of outdoor cats.  She lives about 10 miles from me, but
will soon be moving.  At the time I first posted, it appeared that she
wasn't going to do anything about the cats, and I was quite concerned.
Then she thought she'd take them with her.  However, as the time for her
move gets closer, it is obvious that she wasn't really sure if she
wanted to do that.  As it is, she's moving about 500 miles from here,
and since they're used to being free, the long ride would no doubt
distress them considerably, if she could even get them into carriers.

She recently spoke to the woman who bought her house, and the woman has
a daughter who loves cats.  They have asked that she leave the cats for
them.  That sounds like a perfect solution, since they'll be able to
stay in familiar territory and will be cared for by people who want
them.

I'm glad to hear that the cats will be taken care of - perhabs better
than they have in the past.

Yes, I remember that post. Hooray! I'm glad the new homeowners want to
take on the care of the outdoor cats. That's a relief.

I remember you telling about the cats. What wonderful news! Happy purrs
to the cats and their new hoomins.

Oh, thank goodness!  There are just way too many little lost ones out there
looking for a home.

Hugs,
