Job purrs of a different sort requested

I am still really enjoying the work I do, though the commute sucks, being
on pager duty 24x7 sucks, and working for idiots sucks. But doing Linux
admin work is tons of fun.

However, in recent months I have observed some behavior from my employer
that I have to consider borderline shady. Heck, some of what they've
wanted to do is way beyond borderline! It disturbs me to see upper
management performing or even contemplating acts that unethical or, in
some cases, illegal.

I would use some purrs that the folks here decide that ethics count, or
that I can find equally enjoyable work with someone who does believe that
way.

And Nancy could still use job purrs - her job is getting worse every week.
At many crazy hours as I work every week, Nancy works more and is
appreciated less. They're working her so hard that I truly fear for her
health, both mental and physical.

You sound so much like my DH. He is the most honest and ethical man I
know.  I'm sorry about Nancy. You are right to worry about her. I took
on a job once that sounds similar and to this day I feel lucky that it
didn't kill me. I never was one that could "shake it off" and go home
and forget about the problems at work. I stewed about it all the time.
