Laser Toy was a dud.

Smokey chased it for a few minutes, until she noticed the source.

Cali looked at the wall, looked at me and said, "That's nice, you've got a
new toy. Wake me when it's supper time".

Just like the Mutts cartoon Marina posted a while back.

Anyone else see the nipheads tonight BTW? (Father of the Pride)

Our cats *LOVE* the laser pen I got from a vendor at the Denver
conference. They will chase it at full speed up and down the hall. They
will not tire or waver in their zeal for catching the little red
greebling. I fear for the wellbeing of my legs when they whiz by at top
speed, all claws fully extended in hot pursuit. :)

I can't remember your kitty details, but I gather they are mostly males? I
read that males seem to enjoy the laser toys more?

Five boys and 2 girls. Actually, the most fanatical about the laser toy
is Luna, one of our two females. She will spin around in circles trying
to catch it!

Felix couldn't care less about his. He just looks at my hand and
yawns. :-)

Clifford loved laser tag, but displayed much intelligence in the
process.  After chasing the dot for a while, he realized it was coming
from something in my hand.

Somewhat later, he apparently figured out what in my hand was doing it.
Subsequently, he'd go to the laser pointer and tap it when he wanted to
chase the dot.
