Klingon behaviour and broken shopping cart run

Just now, I heard Vino digging up a storm in his litter box.  Then he
came running down the hall at breakneck speed and galloped up to me
sideways and poofy and has been zooming around like crazy.
Hmmmm, I thought to myself, this seems like klingon behaviour.  I snuck
up behind him to get a good look at his butt.  No poopies there, no
klingons.  I went to the litterbox, looking on the ground for dropped
klingons all the way.  Nothing on the ground, but a huge turd in the
box.
I guess he's just feeling really pleased because he's had such a big
load off?!?

The other thing I noticed is that when he runs at full speed, he looks
like a broken shopping cart.  He kinda runs sideways, like an airplane
yawing into the wind or a shopping cart that's broken and won't drive
straight.  What a goof!

Whenever Tyrone has a "klingon" he scrapes it on the kitchen tile floor.
Skid marks.  Not fun!

Stinky will do this too, sometimes.  Drop a load and take off like the
Concorde.  I say "You've had a great weight lifted, haven't you?" ;)

I guess you haven't seen him do that very much until you moved to Oz?
I mean since he was a kitten, but that was quite a while ago, now.

Sounds really cute!

I've seen this with many cats - the poopie zoomies.

At my house there was a poopie zoomie in the middle of the night last
night and when I came down in the morning, there it was on the floor by
the rug.  EEEEEWWWWWWW!  This is most unusual; pee sprinkled around for
my amusement is not unusual, but this was.  I think it was a hint that
somebody doesn't like the new kind of litter I just bought a large bag
of.  :*(
