Fynn's operation was successful. He spent the night at the clinic and should
be going home this afternoon.
His slave is worried that he might not be able to climb tree's etc (which he
loves to do). I think in a couple of weeks everything will be back to
normal.

Thanks for the purrs.

Burmese are like potato chips, you can't just have one.

I think a couple of weeks is a bit optimistic, he'll have to learn how to
use that leg again very carefully, so it might take a bit longer.......

Perhaps I was a bit previous in saying a couple of weeks, but I am sure
given time he will make a full recovery - he is young so that is on his
side.

Oh yes, I'm sure he will fully recover. My Misty had that operation on both
hips 5 years ago. He's not as good at jumping as the other cats, but otoh he
jumped from the balcony without any damage to his hips......

So glad Fynn's surgery went well.  I'd tend towards six weeks, rather than
2. Most surgery takes that long to get over.

If his front legs still work, I'd guess he's good to go.  Getting back down
might be another matter for a little while

Proof once again of the positive power of purring. I'm glad to hear that the
little hero will pull through.

Blessed be,
Baha

Oh hooray!  I was off-line with home network trouble so I couldn't let
you know that mine were purring for little Fynn, but I sure am glad to
hear the good news.
