I got home from work this evening and Vino was just ecstatic! More than
usual, for sure. He purred and purred and purred and rubbed all over my
legs and clung to me and followed me around like a puppy dog. I was
getting changed and his legs could no longer support him and he
collapsed on the carpet and he had to stretch way out and pull himself
along with his claws. The whole time he was purring maniacally.
I fed him his dinner and he gobbled it down, purring. Even though he
still had some kibble left, he likes to wait for the "real" food,
canned.
Then I let him out in the yard, thinking he would want to be out there
for a good long time since I was out most of the day. But he came back
in after only an hour, purring still.
Later he played with my cell phone sock (gawd, it's just like one of his
catnip toys but why does he prefer it over his own toys???).
Now he's sacked out on the bed. Every time I come into the bedroom, he
looks up and squawks at me, does upside downy head, and purrs.
What a little cutie. I think I'll just go to bed early tonight and
cuddle up with my Insta-matic Purr-o-matic :-)

Purring is an automatic safety valve device for dealing with happiness
overflow.

You paint a lovely picture, Britta, it's so nice to read about a happy
owner.

Isn't that the best? I love it when my cats love me like that. :~)

Awwww! Vino was happy to see you!
I had a day off from work yesterday, and as it was quite hot out, I
stayed home and watched a DVD. I was not paying much attention to it
though, as Nina was lying on the living room floor having a serious
attack of The Rollies. She was exhibiting her cute tummy as she rolled
from side to side waving her adorable white paws around and
demonstrating frequent upside-downy headedness in her bliss. More
entertaining than a movie, any day!
Love the term instamatic purr-o-matic! I think Vino seems to like his
new Australian home, and this is the way he has chosen to tell you
this. =o)
