LO everybody

Bandit (UK) had occasion to deliver up a hairball in the early hours of
the morning. I awoke to the pre-spew hawking, heard the delivery belch
and some scratching afterwards. Knowing from the echoes that it had
happened in the bathroom (tiled with an expendable old bath mat) I
allowed myself to go back to sleep - not difficult at 5 am.

At a sensible hour of the morning I went into the bathroom and found the
baby-mousie-like hairball & accompanying tummyjuice on/in the bathmat
where my feet go when I'm on the Porcelain Throne but the mat had been
carefully & neatly folded over corner-corner so that I wouldn't step in
the mess.

Not only an immensely kindly & friendly cat towards other masters,
Bandit's considerate towards his hoomin too :)

I loved that story!  Thanks.  Unfortunately, my kids' hairballs are right in
open stepping areas and they're not considerate about it at all.  :~)

Cheers to you!

Ditto to that.

I would say that to me one of the worse things about having cats is
getting up half asleep in the middle of the night and stepping in a
hairball.  EWWWWW!

My pain in the necks  :-)

Aww.  Oscar just lets her hairball out wherever the mood strikes.

When she was frightened of Eros, though, she decided to pee on the
bath mat rather than leave the master bedroom area ... and she folded
the mat over.  My heart went out to her.
