I went to the vet today Rumble was due for his full panel blood works  So
please some purrs for a good turn out

I heard this kitten meowing in the back and I said someone is not happy.
My vet's daughter found a kitten dropped out back in a box.  She is about 6
weeks a guess maybe less.  See is a orange striped Hemingway cat.  My vet
said they had called the shelter was coming to get her.  There are no more
no kill shelters in my area since the closings and political BS.  I could
not let that happen not on my watch.  I said no way she is coming home with
me.  The vet gave her some de-wormer, she look lie a healthy cat  not
showing any signs of sickness but she is to young for all the vaccines and
test yet.  He is going to observe her over night and we are hopefully going
to bring her home tomorrow.  What have I done

Something told me I had to go to the vet. I was going to cancel and bring
Rumble in next week but something told me to go today.  The gods work in
mysterious ways.  I am praying she is a healthy kitten so we can bring her
home to love.  What have I done

She looks older than 6 weeks - maybe 8 weeks to me.  Even if the vet won't
give her vacs yet, he should be able to get a blood sample to test for
disease before you integrate her with your cats.

I'm sure you know how to integrate her slowly into your clowder, but if not
let us know and we can give you some tips.

You done good Matthew!

Indeed. Bast knows a cat lover when she sees one. =o) Because of all
the devotion you showed to Rumble, she decided to send you another
little one who needs your help, even if she doesn't need it quite as
dramatically as Rumble did.

And what a sweet little face she has!

YAY Matthew!! I once knew a cat named Attilla who had six toes on each foot!
Wowsa, a baby kitten! And you saved her life. *sniff*

An orange girlycat? I think they are rare. Most orange cats are boys I
think. She is a total doll, Matthew I am sooooo envious ... More pics as she
grows up!

Awwww, she was calling out to you! Cats have this sixth sense...

She is a cutie. Completely irresistible. You didn't have a chance.

What a little cutie! Bast will bless you for giving her a home... next
time we get a cat I'm determined it will be a ginger - they're my
favourite colours, much as I love my babies... of course, that'll
depend on who God wants us to look after - just look how Tessie
appeared when I was crying because I wanted a baby to love!

You've made a twenty some year commitment to love and be loved and to be
driven to distraction and entertained beyond measure.

But you already knew that.

Congrats.

Poor Rumble.  Blood work and a kitten to boot.
