He can! I know it's possible because somehow Vino manages to get every
fly in the house, even though the ceiling in the living room is about 16
feet high. I don't know how he does it, but sooner or later the fly
buzzes past him and he just reaches up with one paw and scoops it out of
the air and right into his mouth.

Amazing! Is he a cat, or is he Mr. Miyagi??

As large as Sammy is, she is incredibly agile and quick. She gets every
single fly that gets into the house and bats it around until it dies of a
heart attack - I'm constantly finding dead flys all around the house because
she doesn't eat them. It is hilarious to watch her playing with one, she
*throws* her entire huge body around the room and into the air like a 300
pound balerina! ;>

LOL! That's exactly what Caliban does when he sees a bug! And he has a
little chirpy voice, as well. I get a lot of bugs inside now that I keep
the door open to the enclosure when I'm home.

This video reminded me of your story. Well, it's completely
different, but this kitty is really sad that the birds won't come down
to play with her! She must normally be an indoor kitty who doesn't
get to see many birds.

Thats cute. I also saw this one while browsing around. Pretty funny except for
the lady throwing the cat up to the ceiling. I love the one of the kitten in
front of the mirror. Smokey did that a couple of times when he was a kitten.

Actually, I think the woman knew the cat would latch onto the ceiling,
and it was a game they played together. Didn't look malicious or even
dangerous to me.
