Chin resting on forehead

I was lying on my back in bed last night and I heard this motor
approaching.  It got louder and louder and finally it settled on my
pillow next to my head.
Whew, at least the motor was warm and furry!
Vino was meatloafing right next to my head, his folded under arms were
pressing against my ear and the motor was going full stop.  He then
rested his chin on my forehead and I got the full effect of the
rumblings.
It's funny, when I'm that close to the motor that I can feel the
vibrations going right into my brain, I could tell how nasal it really
is.  It's like he purrs through his nose *and* in his throat.
Also, I swear his purr volume has doubled since we got to Australia.  I
don't know if I can just hear it better now that there isn't the
constant aircon background noise, or if he really purrs louder.
Whatever it is, I like it :-)

Purring is an automatic safety valve device for dealing with happiness
overflow.

Awwww!  That was one of the strategies Stinky used on me when I first
brought him home.  Contact purring. ;)  He was still a little feller,
and he would curl up right next to my head.  I would be completely
relaxed in about five seconds.  He still sleeps next to my head. ;)

How sweet!  I love it when Persia gets right up next to my face.  That's why
I call her my 'Rumblebug' :)

Maybe it's the Coriolis Effect - clockwise purrs just sound louder.  ;-)

It would be one thing if I had real problems; those I could ignore. Pesky
annoyances, however, require action.
