No, not the comic.

My landlord bought me a shower stall. My bathroom floor always gets
flooded when I take a shower because there is nothing stopping the water
from getting out except the shower curtain (which is full of holes since
Miranda loves climbing it). The shower stall was delivered today. I left
the front door open for a while while the man brought in the second
package and I signed for it.

After he'd gone, I decided to do a headcount just in case, though
neither cat has ever even tried to dash out the front door. I walked
around the flat searching but couldn't find any cats. Finally, I spotted
a bump under the bed covers. Turned back the cover, and sure enough,
there was Caliban. I sat down to stroke him, and almost sat on another,
much smaller bump. Miranda is still tightly curled up under the bed cover.

My cats don't like to be *completely* under something but mom's Petrus does
this too. Living dangerously!

Nina is also known to take refuge under the comforter when I vacuum or
when any objectionable person comes to the door. =o)  But she makes
quite a large hill in the MIDDLE of the bed, so I always know it's her.
Then I lift  the covers and say hello to her. She pretends she's cool,
acts like she's ALWAYS under the covers, and  I should not assume any
nervousness on her part.  =o) Such a  silly cutie!

Caliban may *think* he's invisible when he's under the covers, but then,
he thinks he's still a small kitten. Sorry, mate, you grew up. ;o) But
Miranda can really curl up into such a tight little ball, she is
virtually invisible when she decides to hide under the covers. Note to
self: always check before you sit down (as if that ever stopped me from
sitting on cats).

Now that gives a whole new meaning to "Stuff on My Cat".

Missy doesn't like to be completely covered but we've sat on Smokey
several times when he's snoozin' while curled up under the blanket.  We
try to remember to check but sometimes forget until we feel the movement
 and hear the muffled "Meomph".

"Meomph" - I like that, LOL.

Roxy's the undercover cat in this house. But it's not just the comforter
on the bed. She likes to hide under throw rugs. I think she's waiting for
someone to come by so she can ambush them. But because she's extraordinarily
patient, she just waits and waits while nobody comes by, and eventually
I think she just falls asleep. Hours later, I discover the Roxy Lump
under the rug in the bedroom.

Here she is partially revealed, because I started playing with her:

Smudge enjoys this pastime, too:

Although Smudge isn't nearly as patient. Roxy can last hours under
there, but Smudge gets bored quickly if nobody pays attention to her.

Marina, you give a whole new meaning to "cat sitting" :)

Betty was an undercover kitty too.  She started by sleeping under the
covers with me in cold weather, then it evolved to it becoming her
default napping spot even when daddy wasn't there with her, then to
her hiding there when the vacuum or cat carrier came out.

Hehehe. I know. I am the Evil Catsitter.

It's nothing new that Miranda hides when someone's at the door, but
Caliban usually goes to meet and greet visitors. Maybe he was scared by
the huge packages that the man brought in.
