LOL. I know a fireman. I knew him before he became a fireman. He's not
especially handsome, but not ugly either. Just normal-looking. But when
he's in that uniform... I don't know. Something just happens when they
put on the uniform. :oP

My friend's ex fiance is a firefighter. And also a big jerk, a cheater
and an unsupportive partner.
I will admit that he is not painful to look at though.

LOL I had exactly two dates with a firefighter years ago. The first date,
all he could do was talk about himself. I gave him a second chance and went
out with him again. Same thing. The guy was really stuck on himself which
in my book makes him a jerk. Probably wouldn't be a very supportive
partner. He made sure I got a copy of the Firefighters Calendar in which he
was Mr. May. Not bad looking at all, but still a jerk.

I adopted a kitten to a fire fighter. He was very cute, and the kitten
was too. He sent me a picture of him, his boyfriend and his "baby girl"
6 months after they adopted her. His BF was also a fire fighter and
equally cute. That is one lucky kitty to get to sleep with those two!

The reminder that when everyone else is running out, they are going in?

Again, this reminds me of the most touching book dedication I've ever read,
"This is for the men who died going *up* the stairs." (in memorial for the
firefighters of 9/11).
