Monday, Jim and I had a most enjoyable lunch with Julie Cook.
We were almost within waving distance a couple of weeks earlier. She was on
Amelia Island when we passed by on Genesis in the ICW. But, she was on the
other side of the island.
I often wonder how many others we are missing as we go by.

I'm glad you got to meet Julie. DH and I really enjoyed meeting her
and her other half when they visited Australia.

How wonderful! I was thinking that I haven't heard much recently
about her furry crew.

Cool -- glad you got to meet.
I'm still hoping to meet Julie next time she and Rusty are anywhere
near me.
I'm still glad I had the chance to meet David Yehudah and Patty before
he passed. Still miss his presence on this group.

I wish I could have met them. I miss his posts, too.

I enjoyed his posts for years, it's still hard to believe he's gone. :-(

I don't think Dave Y is gone. He's up at the rainbow bridge playing
with his owners, driving all the cats up there nuts, and having a great
old time. I fully look forward to hearing his stories in person when it
is my time to visit the bridge.
I still treasure our trip across the US a few years back because it gave
us the opportunity to meet Sherry and Larry, Steve Touchstone, Christine
Burel and family, Dave Y, and Krista and Loen in British Columbia. It
was a great and wild trip, and someday I hope to swing down south to
meet Julie Cook and the Florida catslaves, as well as swing up north to
meet the New England and Great Lakes area catslaves. It will have to
wait, but I'm patient.
