Well, June 13th makes it another year in the married life of Rob and I.
We joke that we stayed married for the kids...neither of us would take
them. However, it's been a fun life and we're loving what we can of it.
Rob is incredible and I can't say enough about how awesome he is at
handling the stress and other issues of his cancer. Right now he,
Mandy, and our friend Kimberly are watching the features that came with
the Princess Diaries movies. I get bored too easily, though I love the
movies themselves, especially the cat, Fat Louie. About half of the
owners are in here listening to Meat Loaf with me and the other three
are watching movies with the gang.
We don't have any plans for tomorrow, but that's normal. We may do
something for our 25th, but then again we may not. Happy Anniversary,
Rob. We've had a great time together, even through the rough spots and
I expect to have a great time for the rest of our lives together.

Yay! Congratulations to you and Rob. I hope you celebrate it, even
if only a bit of kid and cat teasing.

Happy Anniversary!
I suspect that one reason he is handling the issues of his cancer so well is
your support. The support of a loving spouse can make all the difference.
I saw (heard) an example of that in church on Sunday. One of our members
has had chemo for breast cancer. It's under control for now, but she has a
genetic predisposition toward it returning, so she is scheduled for a double
mastectomy this Thursday. Only a woman could understand how devastating
that must be. Our minister mentioned her upcoming surgery during the part
of the service where we request prayers. The woman facing the surgery added
that her husband told her that now he'll be able to hold her closer.

Woo Hoo!! Happy late anniversary Christine and Byron. You both look
too young to have been married that long. Did you enjoy the movie?

Awww. Congratulations from all of us. You all are such a wonderful
example of how supporting each other, mixed with lots of love and LOTS
of humor, is just what a family ought to be.

Congratulations on your anniversary! If you don't do anything for your 25th
you'll have to have a big party for your 50th.

Congratulations!
Reminds me of a while back when Dave said to me "How long have we been
together now?"
"28 years"
(We're not married through so we don't have an anniversary to
celebrate)
"Just think" he said, thoughfully, "If I'd had the presence of mind to
kill you on our first date I'd have been a free man three years ago."
The next thing he said was "OUCH!!!"

LOL, even I wouldn't have thought of that one, and I have a very warped

Thank you everyone. I know I shouldn't have tooted my own horn, but
every year together is another milestone for us. When Rob was first
operated on, the Neurosurgeon and oncologist didn't think he'd have more
than six months. I'm glad that their diagnosis was wrong.
