I've been building an outdoor enclosure for my gang, and it's almost
finished. There are still a few possible escape routes which I'm fixing
up one at a time, but none is obvious or (I thought) easily accessible,
so yesterday I let all the kitties out under my supervision. I went in
to the kitchen to make a cuppa (the kitchen window looks out on the
enclosure) so my eyes weren't off the little b*ggers for more than a few
seconds. But when I went back out and did a head count, Tyler wasn't
there. My heart sank.
"Where's Tyler?" I asked the others. For a bunch of cats, they certainly
don't mind ratting. Stirling, Arthur and Vi all turned and looked up in
the same direction. Sure enough, when my eyes followed theirs, there was
Tyler _outside_ the enclosure up on the house roof. He let out a pitiful
little meow.
I had to climb up on the roof myself to rescue him. His feet were
filthy, and I told him so. Norty boy.

OMG, but LOL! What a little bastard he is! Well, not little, but you
know what I mean ;-) I'm surprised he got out, how did he do it? I'm
also surprised it was Tyler who was the norty one, would have thought
the first to pull a stunt like that would be Orly.
Glad you found him right away and he's ok.
