We're taking Chocky to see TED in the morning and I'm a bit nervous
after PB's diagnosis and subsequent demise.
Chocky is, for want of a better word, rotund and waddles rather than
walks but this week she seemed to be favouring one of her front legs
and has developed a limp. I've checked her legs/paws as much as she
will let me and I can't see any obvious injuries but she's not the
easiest cat to examine. The last time she had to visit TED she
screamed the place down when TED gave her an injection and the looks
of fear on the other cat clients faces when we left the consulting
room showed they really believed TED was amputating all her legs
without anaesthetic.
I'm taking DH with me to hold Chocky during the exam so if any
offerings of human blood are required as recompense for her pain and
suffering they will be his (or TED's). <eg>
So could we have some purrs for Chocky, DH and TED.

Purrs for all. If Chocky is extremely overweight, I imagine it could
cause strain on the legs ... at least, that is true in humans (but
then we only have half as many as cats do).
