I play it almost every day, and whilst I can usually 'win' in about 1 in 5
games, my scores are never that low! I think Marina holds the record low
score at 16K. I have *no idea* how she did that! I think a score below 40K
for winning is good!
Joel pays AUS$100+ for detailed, complicated, graphically realistic looking
games that took many man-years of programming. My favourite game (Bubbels)
probably took someone a few hour sof prgarmming, and could be run on a 286
with EGA!

I've always preferred simple games! Bubbels is definitely a favourite, and I
have a neopets account where there are lots of simple flash games that can
be a lot of fun. I still play Commander Keen on occasion!

Oh, I wish I could get that low! My lowest is around 20K, and that was a
fluke like Kaji's. Thanks for the game file, Vicky. There's just
something so soothing about the bubbles popping. pop-pop-pop

I loved that sound when I first started playing. It was very satisfying.
Then it started getting on my nerves. Now I can't play it unless the
sound is off. Which is unfortunate, because I often like to listen
to music online while I'm doing something else on the computer. That
something else isn't Bubbels anymore - I can't enjoy music with that
horrible popping sound going on at the same time!
I've found that there's something satisfying about watching a whole
row of "bubbels" popping silently. It seems like a much smoother
motion when I can't hear each individual pop.
My record low is 22430. I actually did a screen capture of it! :)

I have a screen cap of my lowest score, 16530. It was a bit of a fluke,
was regularly only getting into the high 20,000's. I think Dennis
actually got 12,000 once. No screen shot though, so I choose not to
believe it!
I haven't played bubbles much lately, I'm addicted to Dynomite now.
It's similar but more hectic.

I like Dynomite too... I played the fossil games all the way through
to the very end - it took about a month of saving my game after I
finished a fossil, and there were a couple of levels that you just had
to keep on trying and hope to be lucky! I've nearly finished the
puzzle levels too... I'm not very good at the oncoming eggs game
though - I'm lucky if I last two minutes!

I almost did that too, just for PROOF! :P
