Do you have some spare purrs for Rosie & Cinder?

Friday morning Rosie and Cinder will start shore leave at TED's place.
Cinder needs her teeth cleaned. Rosie will get updated vaccinations.  Both
will stay as boarders until Wednesday.

Jim will drive me from Savannah where we are to Atlanta, Georgia.  We will
visit with some people for the weekend, and I will board a plane on Tuesday
(June 13) to go to Oregon to visit my 85-year-old father and my sisters.  My
pregnant daughter also will fly in for next weekend.  My father has been
diagnosed with early stage dementia and I want to see him while he still
knows who I am.  I will return to Atlanta the following Monday (June 20).
Jim will drive back to Atlanta to pick me up.

We had two leads for vets.  Today we visited them both and boy, are we glad
we did.  The first place smelled so bad when we walked in the door that we
were shocked.  The boarding area wasn't any better and the cages were tiny.
The people we met seemed genuinely kind, but we could not subject our cats
to an environment that gave us a headache.

The other place is clean and organized and the people were friendly and
seemed intelligent and caring.  The cats will be separated from where the
dogs are kept.  The cages were clean, but also small.  There were a couple
of larger cages, and we were told we could have one for each cat.  I was
hoping we could bring Cinder's Turbo scratcher and Rosie's crinkle tunnel,
but we will have to ask the vet for an exception.

We will bring a towel for each of them with scents of both of them and us.
I hope it will help.

Rosie never has been boarded.  Cinder was only once, which was when we had
to go someplace and she needed medication for an ear infection.

I think they will need some purrs to help them through the weekend and until
Jim can get back on Tuesday and pick them up.

.  I will be happy to see my family, but will miss my kitties. The image of
those sweet little sad faces all cooped up behind bars makes me so sad.  And
I will worry about Cinder's teeth cleaning.

aw, I'm sure you will miss them. But they will be so happy to see you
again when you go pick them up. Good luck on your visits, and we will
purr and pray that the duo will be content while boarded.

Oh, now I'm sad, thinking about them all cooped up!! :(

Purrs for them to have a comfortable time at the boarders, and for
you to have a good family visit.

Many purrs. That would be very worrying. Purrs for all aspects of the
trips to go well as well as the boarding.

Many purrs, Annie.  Vino is an expert in boarding now.  He will be
purring for Rosie and Cinder the whole time.  Glad you were able to
check out a couple of places and pick the best one.  Hope all goes well
for Cinders teeth cleaning.  That's next on the list for Vino too.

Many purrs on the way for Cinder and Rosie, and for you Annie, so you
can enjoy your visits without worrying too much about the cats.
