Dream with meaning?

A couple of nights ago, I dreamed that I found Nanki-Poo devouring a mouse -
in his food dish!

This morning I woke up to find a partially eaten mouse, and a lot of blood,
on my light beige carpet. Maybe the dream means I should get him a mouse
dish? Suppose he'd use it if I did? ;-)

He really did do you a favor by putting it where you could not miss it.

I can think of far worse places to discover part of a mouse.

Boyfie always likes to put his mousies or little ratties that he's caught
overnight on the dark navy carpet just in front of where I go to put my
kettle on when I get up.
Squelch. As I inevitably stand on them. "Oh, such a good boy, you are"
lots of praise but I do wish he'd put them somewhere else.
Birdies are immediately scarfed up by KFC. Rodents are her last choice.

Yuck! I'm glad Nanki-Poo doesn't do that.

Nanki-Poo prefers birds, too. I usually find only feathers, unless I come
on the scene early. He usually just partially eats mice, and leaves a
really big mess. Rats are left untouched. It would take an autopsy to tell
what killed them. There is never any rat blood. They must taste really
bad. ;-)

Try waking up in the middle of the night because your foot hit something
cold and wet in bed. Thanks for the half-eaten vole, Frank! Or the time
I awoke to a dead vole dangling in my face. Poor Frank couldn't
understand why Meowmie wasn't happy to get breakfast in bed.

That's true. It could have been worse.

OTOH, does anybody know how to get mouse blood out of a light beige carpet?
I've already tried cold water and a stain remover.
