Tessie adores it when we have a visitor at the house... every knock at
the door triggers a frantic run to the couch to mew for attention.
Even if they never come inside she's still trying to get their
attention and show them what a gorgeous kitty she is. But if they come
inside to visit she's positively ecstatic.

This afternoon our church elder came over to pick up my old computer
for his daughter, and he brought her with him. Charlotte is ten years
old and she says she LOVES cats... so for the next few hours the girls
didn't know what hit them. They've never met a less-than-adult visitor
before! Scouty hid under the bed in terror, Silly wasn't at all sure
what to make of her (but settled for sitting in her box supervising
from the other side of the room) and Tessie lapped up the attention.
In the end all three of the cats ended up hiding under the bed because
they'd been run ragged playing with the feather-on-a-stick and the
laser pointer... but even then Charlotte went 'kitty fishing' with the
feather on a stick, and Tessie obligingly stuck her paw out to wrestle
with it! All in all it was a successful visit and I think Tessie and
Charlotte both had fun - but Scouty and Silver won't agree :P
