Thank you for the purrs, they seem to be helping Thomas so please keep
them coming.

Thomas, Mary and I have just got back from Thomas's TED as Thomas had
another fit this morning. It seems that the poor boy has a temperature
of 105 degrees, which could mean an infection, which in turn may have
been causing the fits.

TED has scheduled some blood tests for the morning, and I will be taking
Thomas to TED for Mary. He's also had some anti-inflamatories and
antibiotics to try and address his infection. Inital exam suggests that
his kidneys are OK, he has a slight heart murmer, and his chest is
clear.

Please keep purring for this old boy to have a while ahead of him yet.
Mary could also do with some purrs - she got very stressed and worried
at the vets and had a severe attack of angina, tears & a panic attack.
:o( At 86, I guess you're entitled.

Wow. That is really high. Yes, it could certainly cause those problems.
Purrs that it comes down soon.

I'm glad to hear it!

105 (40.5 C) seems extremely high, but I know a cat's normal temperature
is higher than a human's. On the other hand, it doesn't seem all that
common for cats to have fevers unless something is seriously wrong. I
guess 105 in a cat is like 103 in a person, and that's pretty high,
especially for an adult. Poor kitty!

Oh, I'm sorry! Thomas is obviously very important to her, so I don't
blame her although that reaction must have been scary for her and for
everyone around her.

More purrs for both of them!

Oh dear! Purrs for both Mary and Thomas. I know how stressful
it can be when you are worried over your fur baby. I am experiencing
that right now.

Continuing Thomas purrs, from some very loud purr motors.

When cats purr, they're really saying the name of God.
