Nox wants to inform you, in a haughty tone, that she cost sixty dollars
at the humane society. The other three feline commoners in the house
were free because two were in the trash and one was trailer-trash,
according to Nocturne...
Incidentally, Nox does the same thing, loving her nose rubs. But it's
also weird how she likes to be kissed on the forehead, and lately, has
elongated herself up my chest, hind legs on my lap and forelegs braced
on my shoulders, to shove her face under my nose if I don't bend down
to kiss her.

I dunno. Her usual response to a snub is to shun your presence,
leaving you to suffer in eternal light. (She, of course, being
eternally dark...)
I guess it'll depend on if she has agents in your area. I apparently
need to be watched closely these days because either
a) Nox is lonely since I'm the only hoomin here
or
b) As the only hoomin here, I'm liable to do something catastrophically
stupid, and require constant feline supervision by Nocturne herself
(There is no right answer to that question)

No one has "owned me" and no one ever will. However Mom and Dad paid the
rescue folks $75 for the privilege of being allowed to drive me home.

Persia wishes to inform you she merely yowled at Jill's door until she let
her inside! [Jill says it was 26F degrees outside so how could she not?]
Persia says she sat there, yowling. [Jill says, what the f***? I don't
know a thing about cats!] Persia sat down and waited and the hoomin (Jill)
decided it was too cold for the cat to be out so she went and bought cat
food and a litter box and litter.
Persia sat there, waiting. Jill came home and Persia was still there,
meowing... so Jill let her inside.
I don't need to tell you the rest of the story :)
