Emily is back

Well, $217 dollars later, Emily is back where she belongs in our
driveway with her fuel pump replaced and running decently.  The kids
think they can fix the mower, which is hopeful, and the young man who
took out the mail box pole is supposed to remove the mailbox from the
old pole and put it on the new one.  Sigh.  We still have some junk to
get the city to remove, but things are looking better for the moment.
Sherry, tell your appliances to behave.

Pfft. They should behave. Everything is new now. Glad the old girl is
back in the driveway with (only) a $217 repair bill. Two hundred bucks
is a lot of money to me, but it coulda been worse.

$217 is a lot for us too.  However, it was that or walking two to three
miles down a busy street without sidewalks to the grocery store then
carrying whatever we buy back home.  Then there is the none store trips
that are even further distances...
