For the last 3 days, Dennis and I have been building Vino a new cat
condo. We didn't bring the ones from Thailand with us because one was
just too huge and the other was old and ratty anyway. So we brought a
big roll of sisal rope instead (it's cheap in Thailand but really
expensive here!).
It was actually a lot of fun building this, Vino was racing around the
back yard and couldn't help himself from climbing up his posts before
the whole thing was even completed!
Here's a pic of the finished project.

Sorry Vino looks kind of goofy in the shot. I think he was really
exhausted from the big day of non-stop zoomies but not ready to go
sleepy bye bye yet. Just like a little kid!
This next picture has a PG-13 rating, so not for little kids! ;-)

Hee hee, I've got such a dirty mind! I have no idea how he ended up
with this ducky. It was in his carrier when I picked him up from
quarantine and the people said it had arrived in there with him. We
never put it in and can't figure out how it got in there because when we
dropped him off at the airline, they sealed his carrier with tie wraps
that had serial numbers on them which matched his paperwork. So it's a
mystery. But anyway, I couldn't resist taking that pic :-)

Rusty is so jealous. These days when he wants to sit up high, he has
to sit on top of his carrier or on top of his litter box.
Of course he still has a hammock on the window sill in the other room.

Francesca and Nina would LOVE climbing around on that. What a lucky
boy Vino is. Even when making friends with Ducks. =o) I just love the
"What are YOU looking at?" expression on his face in that photo. But
then, Vino is very photogenic, anyway.

Wow, what a splendid castle! He does look a little like he's trying to
stay awake for the picture. Aww!

Goofy? He looks adorable! I love that expression, you can tell he just
had the zoomies and is still feeling a bit overstimulated. (No, I'm
not talking about the ducky picture! ;-) )
Licky often has that expression, eyes dark and ears back, like he
wants to pounce on something. I think it's the cutest thing.
Great new playground, btw!

Really nice condo. And yes, Vino does look like he's all worn out.

From what I can see -- not much of anything.

I was so busy trying to see what he was doing to that duck that I
didn't get a good look at his face. Notice how his eyes are pointing
in opposite directions? He *really* must be tired! You obviously
made him the ideal new toy.

That's a nice cat tree. And no scary ramps ...

Hee! 100% completely absolutely ramp free :-) Although you know what?
He's been walking along the window sill in the bedroom and it's no wider
than those ramps were. But it's flat. It must have been the angle that
freaked him out.

Don't apologize to us--I for one think goofy cats are
adorable--apologize to Vino, who now has photographic evidence of him
in a weak moment, that you can hold against him!

LOL. He looks like he has his eyes propped open with toothpicks. You're
right, just like a kid fighting sleep! ;>

Now aren't you glad Vino is neutered? Can you imagine trying to find
homes for the Vincks?

Great Tree/Condo Vino's home, Dad's home, no wonder he's excited.
As for the Duck I'll behave.
