Joy, our dog (friend of all cats) flew the coop this morning.  Jona
walked out; I hadn't yet got the leash on Joy and she followed.  It
being lovely weather, she enthusiastically bounded off.  I raced after
her but she was soon out of sight.  She does this every once in a
while-- gets all happy, runs, then gets lost!

Purr that our big furry friend will come home soon, or that some good
helper finds and calls the phone numbers on her tag (my home and cell
phones).

Last time she did this, when she realized she was lost she ran straight
in the door of another house that had cats.  Guess it smelled like
home.
