Don't ever apologize for distributing Brooke McEldowney's work! <g> To
me he's one of the subtlest ailurophiles drawing comic strips today,
along with Darby Conley, the creator of Get Fuzzy. I've already sent
that cartoon you mention of Solange the haughty Siamese to several
people. I read 9 Chickweed Lane every morning on the Internet, along
with McEldowney's other strip, Pibgorn (only available on the web).
Both are always big topics over at the newsgroup,
rec.arts.comics.strips .

Don't you read "Mutts" or is that too sweet for you? I love it.

I love that wild whiskery face. Reminds me of my little Mimi.

Cleo Carrington Smith has a whiskery face too! I like it when
she gets interested in something and then all her sensors spring forward.
I also play a game with her, that involves "inside whiskers", which are
the small ones just round her mouth!

Today's (Friday) QoW is a continuation of Wednesday's bathroom humor -
shower this time: <http://www.queenofwands.net/d/20041008.html>.
Last Saturday's Chickweed also featured Solange in a cameo role:

Besides appearing frequently in the daily Chickweed strip, Solange has
her own book, as you probably know - "Hallmarks of Felinity" I
believe it's the only book of Brooke McEldowney's work.

I dreamt about the Chickweed lane cat last night - or rather, several of
them. I was in some kind of rescue home full of cats with the very
small head compared to the body, and the spidery whiskers. Do I need to
get out more? ;-)
