After being offline for nearly 2 weeks, I finally made it back today.

My laptop, which I've been using almost exclusively, has died, or at
least the monitor end of things has. I get a white screen, regardless
of what I do. But if I plug it into a stand-alone monitor (like one
with a desktop model), I can operate the laptop just fine since I can
see what I'm doing.

So I backup all important things, and have spent the last few days
getting my old desktop into operating condition. Such as it is. The
laptop runs XP SP-2. The desktop runs Win98. (sigh)

Tonight is my first time online - I guess I must have gotten most of
it right. :)

Purrs to all in need!

Is the laptop still under warranty?
