Jasper update: the power of purr worked!

Letter from TED today: the very low white cell count in his first set of
blood tests was an anomaly - the second set were just fine, and apparently
his diabetes is very well managed.  I just hope I get as good news as that
for Carrie; she goes in tomorrow to have her incision checked up.
