Cali has been diagnosed with Chlamydia, so now she gets the eye gel three
times a day, as well as the foul yellow liquid three times a day for a
month. We've only given here the oral antibiotics twice and we are already
getting the silent treatment.

But from the little I've read so far, this is not all that serious. It also
said that in a multi-cat household it's liable to get passed back and forth
between the cats. So unless we treat all the cats are we wasting our time?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wanted to send purrs.  I
hope Cali forgives you soon.  ;>

The good news is that being the bright kitty, she sort of understands that
we aren't trying to hurt her. The bad news is that I can hear the wheels
turning. "Just wait til you're asleep pig!"

The syrup has this bright yellow dye in it for some reason, so now her white
fur has bright yellow stains on it. If we have to bath her, I'm going to
start locking the bedroom door. :)

This really is hard.
Lots and lots of purrs and best wishes that Cali discovers the treatment
is for her own good and that the other cats do not get infected. Lots of
hugs for you for taking such good care of Cali,
Polonca and Soncek
