We had to put Cinnamon to sleep a few days ago.  He was about 17 years
old, and had a tumor in his mouth.  Also had kidney trouble.  He wasn't
eating. It was time....

He was a very friendly tabby cat.   Wish cats lived longer.  Now we sent
him to the Rainbow Bridge where he'll feel better...

I'm very sorry for your loss. But you're right, now he'll feel much better.

I'm so sorry about Cinnamon. I know you'll miss him. 17 is a grand old
age for a cat. He was just so lucky to have you to care about him.

My sincere condolences, I will light a candle for Cinnamon. :-(

I have a nice cream candle speckled with gold that I shall light for him to
guide his way.  Although he might already be there, you know.

It's so sad; outliving our beloved furry friends. I've lost two cats, at
age 16 and 18, and all I can say is that it's good that they lived that
long.

And your Cinnamon lived a long, happy life as well.

You'll never 'get over' losing him, but in time, the pain will begin to
fade.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.

I'm so very sorry. What  a very long life though. You did the right thing.

You have given Cinnamon the best and bravest gift of all, a most precious
gift of mercy, and I have no doubt that he is running over the Bridge with
the strength and painless vigor of his youth, blessing you for loving him
enough to let him go. One who has never known a cat's love, the charm of
play, and the comfort of a purr is experiencing it now with Cinnamon's
little spirit, and he will await you in happy retirement until you meet
again. Please accept my condolences.

Blessed be,
Baha

Thank you all for your condolences, candles, purrs and sympathies.

He lives on in our minds and at the Bridge.

Thanks again  Bob and his mom and Cinnamon.

I'm very sorry for you loss, having had to make that same decision last
month.  But it sounds as if it were truly the kindest thing to do for
Cinnamon at that point.  And yet it's so hard to see them go!

I hear ya.  I think dogs and cats live a length of time designed for
maximum cruelty for their human slaves.  Long enough to get them
thoroughly into your heart, and your whole system.

Purrs for his crossing.
