I got this email from a friend of Howard's (so I presume he doesn't
have email set up yet):
Howard Berkowitz has now safely arrived in St. Louis, his cats are (for
the moment) with friends in Cape Cod, and his extra 'stuff' is either in
storage in Alexandria or enroute to St. Louis.
None of this could have happened without everyone's concern and effort,
regardless of the form it took.
I personally want to thank all of you.
This was a very difficult time for Howard and for friends trying to help
from afar.
It got done...and what more can be said?

I'm so glad he made it safely. I haven't been keeping up like I should -
had Mr. Clark been captured?
Thanks for keeping up updated Monique!

Sorry about my previous unsuccessful message! Here it is again, complete
this time.
Yes, Mr. Clark did show up again. As of Saturday he was safely home.
Monique's message announcing that is below:

Mr. Clark is now safely home. There seems to be some question about
whether the aforementioned people really want to take on three cats,
but Howard sounded much better and hopes that he'll figure something
out tomorrow.
