Odd dream (Not OT)

I went to bed on Friday night okay that's not so unusual I go to bed
most nights (unless I fall asleep in the chair because a cat's chosen
to sleep on me- you don't think I DARE move and wake them up do you?)
and dozed off

And then I was sitting on the edge of the bed and holding Isis and she
was  stiff and cold I  was stroking her and crying....Until I heard
it...the 20 foot purr (so called because it was heard at 20
foot....through a closed door) and those gold green eyes opened and we
rubbed heads. Then she wanted her tummy tickled and I obeyed..at some
point I realised I was dreaming but it seemed so real...Then I felt the
little tap on my leg that means  Dunzi wants attention and I looked
down and there were the pair of them looking up as if they wanted to
say "Hello" to Isis. So I put her down and the three of them did
the compulsory sniffing of butts etc then went off to play I watched
them for ages until I was tired so I settled down. At once, Isis jumped
on me as did Sarsi and I seemed to drift back to sleep.

Just as I got to the bit where I was starting to wake up for real I
felt Isis jump off me and through half open eyes I saw her heading for
the kitchen and thought "Greedy guts".

Then I woke up and of course, she wasn't there but if you asked me
how many cats I lived with for about a minute I would have said
"Three"

The weird think was Sarsi was lying on top of me and staring intently
at the bedroom door as if she'd seen something as well...

Ah well....just a dream. Odd it felt so real but it was Saturday
morning, time to get up...okay not quite...and that was the most vivid
dream I'd ever had of Isis....

And then I realised what the date was....

She came to visit.  I think that's sweet!

I did think she must have been checking up, seeing whether those new
kittens she organised when she was ready to cross the bridge had
matched up to her standards!

Hi Lesley,

Isis was checking in - I love it when they do that! Sunday morning I
was sitting at my kitchen table, and I felt a cat tail rub against my
leg. Nothing unusual about that. I looked down, and there wasn't
anyone in sight. Hummmm. I asked my hubby if he had seen who it was,
and he said there wasn't anyone there.  It was definitely a long,
fluffy tail, so it may have been my Dweazel aka Dee (RB) or my Nyota
(RB). I still miss them alot.

I remember after we lost Fugazi, I was sitting in the bedroom and I
could hear and feel a cat messing about under the table I was sitting
at and I said "Issi! Stop that!" only to have Dave call from the next
room "What are you talking about? She's asleep in here!"

I think it was a wonderful visitation and a gift from Isis.  And I bet
Sarsi *did* see her.

As I say she was probably checking up that the new kitties were doing
proper kitty things. I can see there with a clipboard ticking things
off:

"Best quality grub; Yes
Toys: Loads"
Hoomins wrapped around their paws: Yes"
Skritchies on demand: Yes"
Litter box clean or else: Yes"
Able to get away with murder with one cute look: Yes"

I think they passed!

Mega purrs and I truly believe in ghost kitties.  Isis was there.
