Why is she in the bathtub?!

I wondered where Persia was.  I figured she was in the closet or under the
bed.  But no... she was meatloafing in the bathtub in the second bathroom.

Is she trying to give me a hint that I should take a bath?  Is she
practicing for the next tornado warnings?  (I was rather figuring I'd join
her in the closet where the extra pillows and blankets are!)  Or was she
chasing bathtub greeblings and decided to hunker down and get comfy after
she did her duty?  Inquiring minds want to know :)

Maybe she found it cool to be in the bathtub in hot weather.
Rusty hated the bathtub now as I've been bathing him there.
He has ringworm and TED said to bath him twice a week.
I dreaded these baths as much as he does. He goes back to
TED for recheck next Monday. We'll see if we got rid of those
nasty ringworm. If not, I will ask them to give Rusty the bath.
They probably do a much better and through job than I do. I worry
that d I didn't completely rinsed out the shampoo.

Oh, too bad. I'm sure the sight of Persia meatloafing in the bathtub
was extraordinarily cute. Just the weirdness factor alone is cute, but
couple that with her pretty face, and it's a major camera moment. Well,
if this is the start of a new habit, perhaps you'll have some more chances.

So she can say, "If anyone calls, I'm in the tub." ;)

Are you in the Northern hemisphere?  On the first really warm day in the
spring, my cats get into the tub - it's cooler.  But they usually stretch
out, they don't meatloaf.

Nope, and she has her very own Drinkwell kitty fountain.

cool.

In answer to everyone's temperature questions, since we did have tornadic
activity on Tuesday night, 4/25, it has not gotten above 78F degrees
outside.  I'm loving it and so is Persia.  So no, it's not the heat.  I
think she might have found the housefly that was buzzing around my head the
night before but which as mysteriously disappeared.  Then maybe she just
decided to hunker down, because after all, chasing bugs (especially flying
ones) is hard work!

What has the weather been like, where you are?  The bathtub
(like the washbasin) can be a nice, cool surface to nap on,
when the weather's hot.

It's nice and cool, not getting over 78F.  We had a nice spate of tornadic
weather last Tuesday night which caused the temps to drop.
