Yes, you do! This is so like mine. My DH will get no peace, no
matter if she leaves the door open or closes it. If open, she'll get
tailed, toe licked, and head butted. If the door is closed, she'll
get skritching and paws under the door. Mostly it's the kitties, but
daddy has been known to skritch the door himself every now and then.
No sense in letting the kitties having all the fun.

This sounds exactly like my DH, lol!! Apparently he thinks I don't know
that the cats can't reach five feet up the door....
