Minor (I hope) purrs for Luna

Luna has an open wound on her butt. I'm taking her to TED this
afternoon. It doesn't look infected, but it's very close to her anus, so
there's risk of contamination.
Hopefully this is nothing serious and all she'll get is a fancy collar
to prevent licking. :)

Ahh, purrs it's nothing much.  She'll look very chic in her Elizabethan
collar, I'm sure! :)

Purrs already sending Luna-ward. I hope all is OK with her, and cleared up
with a collar!

Blessed be,

We're back from TED. Luna had an abscessed puncture wound. Someone bit
her on the butt. She's on antibiotics for a week and we're to keep an
eye on her to make sure it heals nicely. No collar though... :)
She was anesthesized to have the abscess cleaned, since it was very
painful for her. :(
But everything is ok now and she's back home recovering from her ordeal.

Thanks for your purrs.

We are sending butt-healing purrs for little Luna.   Tell her not to offer
her butt end when trying to be friendly.   Shaking hands would be better!

Poor Luna! That sounds nasty. But, certainly manageable. Purrs for her

I'm 99% certain it was Basho. He's a little terrorist sometimes and he
*loves* harrasing Luna. If he weren't such a lover-boy, he'd be a really
bad boy. :)

Geez, and I thought Eli was bad... He has *never* bitten anyone, but when he
was fighting with them a lot, he had a perpetually scarred chest from taking
scratches from his assaillees.

Late to this one, but many purrs that Luna's butt is on the mend soon
and it's not too serious.
