Purrs Please

I don't often ask for purrs for myself, but, as many of you know, I have
been volunteering at our local Humane Association.  Last week, they posted a
job opening for an Office Manager (who would be doing on a daily basis what
I do once a week).  It's listed for only 30 hours a week, and they don't
list a salary.  I wasn't sure I qualified, but I talked to the Director
today, asked if there were very many resumes sent in.  Her reply was, yes,
but you wouldn't believe the number with typos and miss-spellings (who wants
to hire an *office manager* who can't spell-check her own work?)... and the
ones that didn't follow directions (resumes must be mailed to their PO box,
no emails & phone calls), they go right into the recycle bin.  She asked
about my resume, I said I hadn't sent it as I suck at interviews - she said,
"silly, it's just *me*"

So, I got up my nerve, edited my resume and will be sending it in to her
tomorrow.

Purrs for my nerves, please.

Lots of purrs for your nerves: I think you'll walk it, though.
What a great job - to work at a kitty shelter that you are already familiar
with.
Lots of luck

Nerve purrs coming, along with a nice, relaxing virtual Stosh back-rub. And some
extra purrs that you get the job. Good liuck!

Blessed be,
Baha

Purrs! I hope you get it. Seems silly to "train someone up" when they have you!

Lots of purrs for your nerves. It sounds like an ideal job which would
benifit both parties if you get it.
